How hair extensions work

What Are Beaded Row Extensions?

Very small silicone-lined metal beads are placed in a curved row close to your scalp. The beads stay in place by being clamped closed with a small bit of your hair inside each one. The hand-tied hair is then sewn onto the track of beads. You are able to shower, sleep, work out, and go about your normal daily life with these extensions without ever needing to remove them. They will stay in your hair until your natural hair grows out and it is time for a move-up (about 8 weeks).

Key benefits of my installs include:

- A solid track foundation (No gaps between beads)

- A tension-free attachment (Eliminates forceful hair shed and pain)

- Closely placed stitches (Keeps your wefts feeling secure longer)

-Hidden beads (Not only for aesthetics but for comfort!)

What Are Keratin Bond Extensions?

Each bond is hand-designed one-by-one by ME, not a factory. I personally source raw single-donor virgin Slavic hair from Russia. The only way to ensure that the hair is being ethically obtained. The hair itself can last exponentially longer than factory hair.

How it works:

I prep the donors hair by coloring, washing, and blending the strands to a perfect color match that doesn't fade like factory hair. Then I take a small pinch of hair and apply a small amount of keratin based gel that melts when heated and is hard when cooled. I form each bond and organize it for install.

To install Keratin bonds, a small section of your hair is sectioned out and the bonded hair is placed underneath. I fuse the two together with a precision heat tool and roll the warmed keratin in my fingers as it cools to create a discrete pearl about 1mm in size. This is repeated throughout your head.
